Our sweet angel Nathan Alexander Runyan arrived on April 8th,2010 a whopping 9lb 9oz baby boy!

Before Nathan was born I did a little shopping on ETSY(my favorite place to shop) and found this wonderful store called Dual Fantasy Studio(creaturesbychase).
Was I ever excited when I found these precious angel wings.
I knew once I received them I was going to have my grandbaby pose his beautiful smile with these precious wings.

I've been very excited these last few weeks. We have a new grandbaby coming any day now and I've been trying to get my life in order so I can be a wonderful grandmother.
A few things I've discovered is the lack of time I have to do anything.
I love scrapbooking in my spare time,but it seems like by the time I drag everything out I'm not in the mood anymore.
I added a young lady that goes by suzyqscraps to my facebook not knowing a thing about her. As it turns out she creates digital scrap layouts and sells them on ScrapOrchard. Wow, was I excited when I found this site! I immediately started looking at all the wonderful ideas and pages and knew this was right for me.
I started reading how the digital scrapbooking works and Viola, I bought my first kits.Now I get to create fabulous pages for my new grandbaby and not struggle with all of the paper everywhere.
I thought I would share the site with you all and if you find digital scrapbooking as much fun as I do, then you are at the right place. Oh, and the prices are out of this world!

Life Is wonderful

I thought I would post a few things going on in my life lately.

My daughter married in July and I found out I am going to be a grandmother. How exciting is that?!

I have been creating tons of new pendants the last few months. I can't seem to get them on Etsy before I sell one without a pic taken. I love it!

Our bath and body products are selling well too. Hand sanitizer is extremely popular with all the H1N1 going around. It's nice to help keep down the germs and have a nice fragrance too!

Local candle orders are coming full force during the fall season. There isn't anything like burning a fall fragrance in the cool crisp evening while cozying up on the couch with a good book or good show!

We recently started homeschooling my youngest daughter. Man o Man that is a challenge all it's on. I commend anyone out there who homeschooled from the beginning. You are #1 in my book.

I hope I didnt bore you too much! I wanted to share with you all the wonderful things going on in my life!

Summer Time Treats-Orange Banana Smoothie Pops

In the summer time I love trying out new recipes from Country Living Magazine. I tried this one with a few modifications and our family loved them.

Orange-Banana Smoothie Pops

1 container(s) (7-ounce) Greek yogurt
2/3 cup(s) thawed orange juice concentrate
2 large bananas
Zest of 1 lime
1 tablespoon(s) fresh lime juice
DIRECTIONS: Puree one Greek yogurt, thawed orange juice concentrate, bananas, lime zest, and fresh lime juice in a blender.
Pour into six 3-ounce molds. (We used mini baking tins with Popsicle sticks, but you can also substitute paper cups.) Freeze until smoothie pops are solid, about 4 hours.
To release pops, dip molds into hot water until pops loosen and slide out. If using cups, peel away paper.

If you have pups and enjoy taking them for walks or sporting them around with beautifully designed collars you have to check out Crazy for Collars etsy store.
I purchased two TOP QUALITY professionally made designer collars for my schnauzers and have to say that I am VERY IMPRESSED with the stitching, quality and most of all LOVE that went into these. Don't hesitate on the quality because I am hear to tell you that they are the BEST!!!

I finally finished my new workspace for creating candles/bath and body products.
I am so excited to finally get an area that I can organize and not shuffle from closets and counters in different rooms to find things. It's a thrill to play now.

Off topic of playing, but I received a really nice gift from a friend today. I received a hanging butterfly that represents my friendship with her and also a Willow Doll. They are both so pretty and its really nice to know someone appreciates the little things you do.

Thats was my day today.

I am on day two of my blog and working on new products this weekend. Cold Processed soaps are going to be ready in the near future and I can't wait. Just the thought of creating hand made products to use is the greatest feeling in the world.
